Recommendations for use
  • During the period of restraint, it is advisable not to leave the dog alone for too long, because it might try to remove the band, by biting or scratching it.
  • Always remove the rigid splints before washing.
  • Once the brace has been placed around the dog’s leg, it is not necessary that the two white-trimmed edges meet, since the closure of the brace is by means of the blue straps and stabilization is provided by the splints on the back of the band, therefore you should not think that the band is small because it is not completely closed around the paw, the size if chosen based on the weight of the dog is correct.
  • Do not leave the brace on for an extended period of time: the brace must be worn during the day, especially during physical activity, and it should be removed at night.
